It’s mental health week - and what better time to explore meditation as part of helping you to find some peace of mind.
Our lives have never been busier, never have we been so reliant on tech, which we never seem to ‘switch off’. We know it’s not great for our minds, our mental health and wellbeing. Sure it’s great to stay connected - but too much is too much - and it’s easy to become overwhelmed.
This ‘Let the breeze blow through you’ meditation is very simple to engage with. The intent is that you simply find a comfortable place to sit, give yourself some time out, away from distractions - time to breathe, get present in your body and connect with your breath.
I shared this meditation with my yogis - many of whom have already come back to me to say - thank you. It really does help. (There’s so much research out there sharing just how beneficial meditation is to help you restore, reduce anxiety, rest, sleep better, live better, focus more etc). But… self care starts with you taking time to take care of yourself - no one else can meditate for you - so why not give it a go. What have you got to lose? Change the narrative - from ‘I can’t meditate’ to ‘I’ll give it a try, why not’. No judgment, just explore.
Enjoy - and let me know what you think.
All love
